should i wire my guitar cab in series/parallel or parallel/series?
don’t know if there is a difference….. any opinions?
4×12 cab and a peavy tube head with 4,8,or 16 ohm switch
im guessing a 4×12,yes it makes a difference, and you want your head to be able to carry the load.you need to figure out where your head can run and then wire accordingly.i used to play an awesome jcm2000 triple lead with a reproduction 64 slant.it could be run 8 ohm stereo(the cab)4 ohm mono or 16oh mono,the amp would only run 4/16.to tell the truth i liked it at 16 and thats where i played it, but some people swear by 4 ohms
